Motorola DROID X Android 2.2 Froyo Update Leaked
Do you like this story?
Verizon and Motorola are apparently planning to push out the Android 2.2 Froyo OS to your new smartphone in less than four weeks.
The Android 2.2 Froyo update for Motorola DROID X has been leaked.
The update will provide a speed boost to apps, the camera and the web as well as the options of Flash 10.1, Bluetooth voice dialing and moving apps to the SD card.
Since the Motorola Droid X is set to feature Motoblur, it will take a little bit longer to update the Droid X from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2.
Launched July 15, the Android 2.1-based Droid X quickly sold out across the country, with carrier Verizon Wireless now pushing off shipments to August 24.

I have a Droid X running 2.1 and I now have voice dialing with my old LG bluetooth headset, so 2.2 is NOT required.
